Windows 11 version 22H2 update released on 20th September 2022 is a game changer as it delivers impressive features to this OS build. With this update, the size of recommended activities and pinned icons can be adjusted to suit user needs. There is also folder support for the Windows 11 22H2 start menu.

Another major improvement is that I have enabled drag & drop on the PC’s start menu, which enables files to be dropped to Windows 11 apps through the taskbar. Another significant improvement in Windows 11 22H2 20th September update includes a new sider bar & tab support in Windows File Explorer, a modified layout for snapping Windows, actionable suggestions, and deeper Microsoft account incorporation in Windows settings.

However, the ability to adjust the volume via the scroll wheel is the most significant change in Windows 11 version 22H2 September update. We know that it has been possible to change the volume using a mouse that supports media mode, but this update gives you the absolute ability to change system volume using any mouse wheel.

This feature was included in Windows 11 22478 Build in September 2021. After that, it was sent to the consumers in the 2022 feature update. Once in the taskbar, simply use the mouse scroll; wheel to adjust your system volume. This feature has not been documented in Windows 11 22H2 update, but it can be tested on any PC for those with access to the mouse scroll wheel.

More Updates For Windows 11 22H2 Underway

According to a Microsoft report, it’s on the verge of upgrading the features of Windows 11 22H2 updates and will be delivered as Moment updates. But if you are new to Moment Update, don’t worry; it’s larger cumulative updates sent outside the annual release. B for the previous Windows, users had to wait for fall updates to get the major changes in their OS, but Microsoft intends to alter their approach. The software giant will deliver new features every few months to Windows 11.

Moment 1 update, for instance, added a sidebar and tabs to File Explorer. Similarly, the Microsoft team intends to deliver a Moment 2 update with several improvements between February and March 2023. But the company isn’t planning to stop there, as their main goal is to make their new OS as interactive as possible.

Although Microsoft hasn’t hinted what improvement will be continued in Moment 3 we are certain it will be delivered in May 2023. But there is a probability that it will include Seconds on the taskbar clock as a key improvement in Windows 11 22H2 Moment 3 future update. There is also a possibility that the Microsoft team is working hard on improving the task manager, and these updates might be del;iv3rd in either Moment 3 or Moment 4 update.
